potato
On forms, when they ask for "other names used", it supposedly includes any aliases. Well, should I include my nickname? Almost everyone uses this nickname to refer to me, except coworkers. Even my parents sometimes refer to me as that nickname. Also, my wife's English name is the same kind of story. I basically never refer to her or call her by her Chinese name, and my parents rarely use her Chinese name. Originally, I thought it would be pointless and possibly more waiting time to include these, but I thought of including some letters from my relatives addressed to both of us for more bona fide proof. On these letters, my parents sometimes referred to me by my nickname, and always referred to my wife by her English name. What do you think? Link to comment
dnoblett
"Other Names Used" are other names that you have used on legal documents, as in prior names before a name change. Example "Maiden Name" Unless you used a "nic" name on legal docs like a driver's license, ID etc, you don't list it. Link to comment

Missingyou
I would not do that. It will just delay your background check. Of couse, you should if the name was legally used on your other legal docs. Link to comment
LeeFisher3
I added the name variation that showed up on my credit report for myself. Link to comment
