kwn
I have a question on I864, Number of people in household. No of sponsored immigrants: 2Self : 1If you are married, enter 1 : 1 Total=4 that will be counting wife and SO twice. Should I just leave the third line for married blank? Thanks Link to comment

dnoblett
If your wife IS the IMMIGRANT being sponsored, the you count her as IMMIGRANT, NOT as wife. Understand? Link to comment
david_dawei
It says, "Persons NOT sponsored in this affidavit:" and lists "wife"... She is listed under those being "sponsored" and NOT under those "NOT sponsored" (which includes household members and wife). Each sponsored individual (let's say two: a chinese wife and her daughter) will get promoted to a primary sponsored person... and is also why you would not list a "sponsored child" on the wife's I-864. That should make it clear as mud... Link to comment
