That's gotta be tough. 2 months was rough enough for me...almost enough time to settle back into bachelorhood. As long has she has her GC, should not be any problem getting back in. Just be sure she gets here before it expires. Link to comment

pkfops
Photo copies of her passport and GC may be a good idea. Maybe you could join her for the last few weeks and return together. Edited September 10, 2008 by pkfops (see edit history) Link to comment
warpedbored
All she needs to come and go is her passport and green card. If she took your family name but her passport is still in her maiden name book the tickets with the same name as her passport. Make sure you file the I-751 to remove conditions before her green card expires. I'd recomend you have all the papers ready and then mail them in a couple weeks before she gets back. Link to comment

tonado
I think she should come back at least a month before her gc expires. Two years ago, my wife was very ill a few days before she supposed to fly back to USA. She wanted to fly back a week later but there was no seat available until 3 weeks later. Don't take chances.
