Update of the men. people went to his home yesterday and arranging hospital in Changsha. Picture taken yesterday. the previous picture was taken at May. I dare not to look at new picture...

exact medical condition is not known yet. but it is said, when they met the men yesterday, his feet is gone, fell off naturally. he has no feet now. I have not look at the picture. I will update once more information

I am almost sure he can not afford to go to hospital without help and it is not reported that he received any medical treatment in the past months

To me it looks as if he tied off his legs above where the bad area was to cut off the flow of blood. Then as the flesh died he could have introduced maggots to eat away the rotting flesh so the good part of his legs could heal over the exposed leg bones. Now I'm not a medical profession in any way, but I do know Maggots only eat rotting flesh as far as I know. They were used in the past to clean up bad wounds and have even been reintroduce into modern medicine again.

 

This is only an observation and could be far off base......
