K# visas get through NVC in about a week.. normal.

 

He is trying to track what happens after that.. it sits in customs warehouse a month or so before it is ever entered into the consulate system for DOS to see it... but it's impossible to track it to a shelf... and a waste of time.

 

You filed a I-130...cannot compare that process, if you pursue that at NVC.. it will take you 2-6 months to get out of NVC... that time difference is up to you.
