Randy W
This sand is fabulous. It's so soft it tickles your feet," said U.S. defending champion Kerri Walsh, who has competed on many of the world's most famous beaches. Brazilian-born Cristine Santanna, who now plays for Georgia, said it was like performing on the beaches of Rio de Janeiro despite the sand lying in huge pits in the centre of a crowded city rather than at home on the shores of the South China Sea. http://www.reuters.com/article/environment...EK5238320080806 Link to comment
rogerluli
Even China Daily has had to comment on the bikini-clad athletes of beach volleyball... An Israeli web site though thought it more of a circus than a serious sport and actually opined that it was only so popular for the babe-factor... http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/olympics/2008...ent_6920923.htm Link to comment
