georgeandli
Finally entered the receipt number in the system and should receive Li's card in a month [or so]. Ran across the blurb on the USCIS website. Still nothing on the AP. Link to comment
Randy W
. . . For refugees. This is to "reduce the financial burden on refugees" While there is no fee for the initial application, there is a fee of $340 for renewals. Does that $340 fee for renewals apply to our wives who applied after the fee change ?? Link to comment

Does that $340 fee for renewals apply to our wives who applied after the fee change ??Renewal fee only applies to those who applied for first EAD before July 30 2007, not for those that applied for EAD as part of the $1010 fee for AOS. If you are filing for an extension of your Employment Authorization and your Form I-485, Application for Permanent Residence, was filed before July 30, 2007, then you must pay the $340 filing fee. http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...00045f3d6a1RCRD But correct, a person entering on a K-Visa is NOT a refugee so probably are not going to see a 2 year EAD. Guest Rob & Jin
I would hope we've got the green card before the 2 years are up Link to comment
Randy W
Can't count on it - Look at a few timelines. Renewal for a family-based EAD is 1 year, not 2. Link to comment
