georgeandli
rogerinca, I guess they were serious when they said don't just stop by to chat. At least they consider death a real emergency. Total BS on their part IMHO. Link to comment

It was 2:30 to 3:30 and they recently changed it right? Will I need to make an appointment for ACH now?[/dumb questions] Jeff Link to comment

American Citizen Services has to do with other state department things like replacement of a lost passport, or adding pages to a passport, etc..Starting on Monday, July 14, 2008, American Citizen Services will operate by appointment only for all routine services, including:adding pages to your passport, renewing your passport, applying for a Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) and first U.S. passport for your child, notarial services, marriageability affidavitshttp://guangzhou.usembassy-china.org.cn/ap...ices030708.html If ACH had changed the IV unit of the consulate would post it here: http://guangzhou.usembassy-china.org.cn/iv_announcement.htm Link to comment
