Sebastian
I like to bring 50's and 60's women's fashion items - so I get to looking in the retro shops and church charity resale shops. Made quite a scoop in May, got em prepped for shipping. Then Cigs and alcohol to handle the men. Edited July 2, 2008 by Darnell (see edit history) Link to comment
Dennis143
Gift report from Nanning: American smokes are OK mostly because they're American. Like most smokers, they have their brand that they like and American cigarettes are mostly a novalty. They seem to be quite proud of Chinese made smokes. Chocolates went over really well. The younger women absolutely loved the make-up kits that I bought at COSTCO that comes with a DVD on how to apply it for different occasions. Brandy/Cognac/Jack Daniels/Southern Comfort... really big hits!! (Moatai is very expensive in China, don't discount the idea of buying it in the US and bringing it to China. This is probably the only MADE IN CHINA item that I'd ever suggest bringing as a gift.) Vitamins were cherished and appreciated, because they are American made and backed with American quality.
