After filing a i-130 in july,2006... i have waited for over 19 months for uscis to process my petitions. nevr did i receive a rfe... or anything...

finally after filing a lawsuit against govt authorities....my petitions were approved. never did i lose hope or faith. i knew i did nothing wrong.

anyone who waits for 2 plus years is doing themselves a dis-service, if they don't act.

I give the praise to God.

while very frustrating and a lot of work involved, the sweetness of it all is that i get to celebrate in person with my wife here in china. this was very very difficult her the most. yes... we are celebrating :cheering:

Congratulations ! But - did USCIS EVER give you any indication of 'why the lag' ? If you answered this in previous posting, no need to reply - I'll find it soon.

GOD IS GREAT BROTHER C!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Too bad it takes a lawsuit but sometimes it takes just that to get them moving!!!!

Congratulations brother!!!!!!!!!!

You are right my BIC, God is Great All the time. It took me 3 months to prepare the lawsuit, and they approved it in 2 weeks.

Looking forward to getting ready for the next step

Thanks to everyone who sent well wishes.

No, they never said anything to me except, it was in background checks. this was stated many many times as a result of me contacting them and politicians contacting them. I received a letter from the FBI Janurary stating I had no records on file... which means they (the fbi )would not preform additonal background checks. I informed USCIS of this, but no response... I did contact everyone possible in the US goverment on my case, this did little but provide me evidence for my lawsuit... so in the long run, alls well that ends well.
