What is the current cost of a Chinese passport?

Hi all, I was curious on what the current cost for an SO's passport from Nanning, China is.

I was told it is 1,000 rmb.

I tried to search it but I was getting errors and the only topic I could find were from 2005 and 2006

My wife paid 240 RMB total in Oct. '06. The passport cost was 200 RMB and passport photo was 40 RMB. Approx. $35 US Dollars. She is also from Nanning where she obtained her passport.

Surely as time passes, prices change.
