tcrocks38 Posted January 28, 2008 Report Share Posted January 28, 2008 Ok I will explain this the best i can.1)we moved to Washington state.2) Filled out change of address for both wife and self3)Made copies of all returned change of address froms from USCIS mailed to the field office of the origanal interview 4) Got cancelation notice from Mn5) recieved new appointment notice to local field office in washington.6) last week got cancelation notice there as wellOk what gives ?I have covered all bases what do I now ???? It may be a case of crossed wires. Of course these are only guesses and others that know better will be along soon. Link to comment

dnoblett Posted January 28, 2008 Report Share Posted January 28, 2008 Was cancelation notice a paper letter or just email? If email I would pretend that you did not get it and just visit the field office anyway, I have read too may times on VJ where they get cancellation email, and the IO at the field office puts the couple down as NO-Show and starts deportation procedures. I have read of others who ignore the cancellation notice and get interviewed. Even if you got something in the mail you may want to still visit field office if it is not too far away, at the original appointment time. Worse they can do is tell you that the appointment was canceled and perhaps tell you when it will be re-scheduled. Link to comment
