Melanie
Does anyone have a sample form that I could look at? I have reviewed the examples listed in order to prove that the marriage is real, but considering that my father's fiancee (they will marry in April and will file the I-130 after the marriage takes place) is in China, and he here in the U.S. , I am unclear as to what the process would be for creating a joint residency or joint bank account. dnoblett
Perhaps this may work: http://www.visajourney.com/examples/I-751_support.doc Though for the visa you only need to provide a marriage cert, only later when lifting conditions on the conditional green card do you need to provide evidence of a bona fide marriage. The items listed on the I-130 have to do with a couple who have been living together overseas for quite some time. Link to comment
Sebastian
Heya Melanie - RE: Joint Bank Account. Your Dad can set up a joint bank account at any bank of china branch, only need 1 RMB to start a passbook savings account. He'll need his passport, of course, the Red Marriage Book, his WIFE by his side, her marriage book, her China ID card. It might be a better thing for him to get a 3 month CD there as well.
