dnoblett
Yes Asia. http://us.yesasia.com/en/index.aspx Keep in mind you may need a region-free DVD player, USA is Region 1, and China is Region 6, and Hong Kong is Region 3. Or use a program like DVD shrink to re-burn the disks to Region 0 to play on a US player. Link to comment

Actually, I'm looking for American movies with "Chinese subtitles". A while back, someone on CFL referred me to a site that had the letters "A through Z" on top of web page, and a decent selection of movies starting with that letter when searching. Sites just mentioned on this post don't seem to have this feature. Unfortunately, I lost previous bookmark when I formatted my hard drive.Thank you : ) Link to comment
jbray
When I moved to China, I bought a fairly large DVD collection with me (about 100 DVD's). My Chinese friends wanted to watch movies with me, but they needed subtitles. I ended up buying most of the movies again in China (plus about 1000 more). If you ever go to China, you may want to load up. Link to comment

I am the one, who posted that link you referred to, well over a year ago. This list is not all inclusive. But it does have quite a few titles in alpha-order. As a side note, most if not all of the Clint Eastwood, Dirty Harry series, Dead Pool, etc, have the Chinese subs. Also Sleepless in Seattle, with Tom Hanks, was Chinese subbed. My Lao Po loves to watch these DVD¡¯s with English language and the Chinese subtitles. http://www.imdb.com/Sections/DVDs/Subtitles/Chinese/P Link to comment

ameriken
My wifes english is getting better now that she has been here nearly 2 years, so while she can understand most movies better than before, we still use english subtitles to help and she is not so dependent on the chinese. In fact, "The Last Time" was the first movie we rented in quite a while that had chinese subtitles (cantonese, but she said she could still read them), and it sort of confused her since she had gotten used to the english! Randy W
For English language movies with Chinese subtitles that you can buy in the states, there's also Mulan, Lost Horizon, and Lady from Shanghai. Link to comment
