They are consecutive numbers. Quicker than this letter would lead you to believe. Now I can file an amended return for 2006 Link to comment

My brother, and two sisters, and I have consecutive numbers - we were born 9 years apart, but our parents waited until the final count was in before applying for everybody. Link to comment

Stuck with her chinese first name. Used her chinese family name as her "new" Middle name. Link to comment

You can't even declare children as dependents on your taxes without a SSN. Link to comment
