Received SS Cards

We applied in person for wife and son's SS card on November 6 and received them in the mail on Nov. 19. They are consecutive numbers.

My brother, and two sisters, and I have consecutive numbers - we were born 9 years apart, but our parents waited until the final count was in before applying for everybody.

As a K-3 you used your married name what about the first name??

 

Change it or stick with her Chinese name?????

We had her married name added at AOS interview for GC. Stuck with her chinese first name. Used her chinese family name as her "new" Middle name.

Can't do that anymore. You can't even declare children as dependents on your taxes without a SSN.
