I just called Consulate Affair, 2026477948, asking information for the name clear for interviewor on Aug. The man claimed that "thousands" of names for those interviewed on Aug have just been sent to Guang-zhou. I hope this is truth! If some can confirm it for me, it would be great! Good luck for all of us in this boad!

Yes, Mark, thanks for your phone number. It's my third time calling to consualte affair today, and finially when I got really really mad, asking "what do you expected us to do with this holiday? You don't care since your heart is not broken, do you?". The man said, "Please believe me, we are working very very hard to solve the problem, and we undertand your fraustration! Thousand of names from August has been sent to Guang-zhou." I asked, "You mean, one thousand of the name is all for interviewed on Auguest?", he said," yes". I asked, "Do you mean, all name interviewed on Auguest have been sent?" He said, "No."

 

I really hope that some one can give me confident with what I heard.

thousands seems a bit optimistic. If we go by what we hear, looks like the whole female population in China applied for a K visa.

Considering there is likely about 8000 K China apps ( based on FY01 statistics ) , K- Augusters shouldn't be more than 600-700 or so.

DoS clears not only K's but J's and others....etc.. I assume that what the person was refering about. Total visas, just not Fiancee's

But if it is indded true, it is good news.

actually called both my mom (76) and daughter today ( 14) . That was their birthdays :-)... I would have hope to get a Bday gift from DoS but I got the PMS lady...

i called CA yesterday .. but the CA people always has the excuse to explain that....i told him we are all very mad at them since the Aug girls should wait sosoosos long, and we could not believe how can the Oct, Nov, Dec get the visa frist... anyway i thought if they can give us more information...
