Scott, your (her) generalizations of women from different cities are also viewed by many Chinese women.

I've heard it more than once how Shanghai women are often spoiled, pampered, and high-maintenance. Whereas, Nanning women are traditional and frugal... Seems there are universal generalizations among women as to what another's character and habits are based on the region she is from.

Just goes to show you that generalizations and prejudice happen even in China. It's a sad thing to see a broad brush used to paint the people the live in a certain city or region. People are people, and each person deserves the chance to show who and what they are before being judged by someone that's never met them.

Now, this logic applies until you go to places like West Virginia. You've really gotta watch out for those hillbillies.

So, are you in the market again?

And some Chinese women see it as a duty to find a wife for a single guy. Match Making is in the blood of many. :mbounce:

WEST VIRGINIA: Written permission must be in the possession of anyone who will shoot, hunt, fish, or trap upon the fenced, enclosed or posted grounds or lands of another person. Written permission is also required to peel trees or timber, build fires or do any other act or thing thereon in connection with or auxiliary to shooting, hunting, fishing or trapping. Hunters who kill or injure any domestic animal or fowl, destroy or damage any bars, gates, or fence, or leave open any bars or gates resulting in damage to the owner, can be held criminally liable as well as liable to the landowner. The landowner may personally arrest any such person found violating this law and take the hunter before a JUSTICE OF THE PEACE for trial. In such instances, the landowner is vested with all the powers and rights of a game warden.
