To the Editor and writing staff,

 

I have come to the conclusion that Mrs.. Clinton is right when she states that, "this administration is taking the Country back in time 50 years".

 

A few short years ago, the LIFE ACT was created so that families could be reunited in short order and were able to wait out the INS red tape here after a 4 to 6 month wait. This established the K type visas. Today, the wait is 1 1/2 years to 2 years. So much for Republican family values. This 'Hurrah For Me' administration has selectively targeted China in order to put holds on fiances and wives being together with their families in the name of 9/11. Visas from China are getting harder to come by than WMD in Iraq!

 

I belong to a chat group where one of the members is currently on a hunger strike to protest this administrations slowness in getting his wife here from China. Every time there is a light at the end of the tunnel, new policy is enacted stressing more background checks in the name of 9/11. If the wives and fiances were from Saudi Arabia, they would have already been here. Shades of the Chinese Exclusionary Act! Just my 2 cents here, I would've removed the term "chat group" and replaced it with "support group". A lot of folks out there are weary of chat rooms as a lot of times they are related to the darker sides of the internet. Anyway this forum is more of a support group if you think about it.

 

If you write something else feel free to tell them another member is so disgusted with the process and this administration he is packing his bags and leaving his country to be with his loved one. We all have to do what we have to do. Leaving a democratic country to live in a communist country...hell it's easier for me to get into China and live in China than it is for my wife to get here....doesn't make a lot of sense does it. My god what threat does she possess to this country? Maybe piss off a few self centered and bitter American women? Oooops sorry, don't want to open up that can or worms

 

In my opinion I think one productive thing we can all do right now is make sure we and EVERYONE we know is registered to vote and actually goes out and votes. Granted by the time the election comes around again most of our wives will be here already, but I am sure there will be others who take our place in the waiting game.

That is the very cartoon that I suggested to Mark Fiore months ago. She could be at a border crossing and HS is waving in Arabs with AK47s but won't let a petite pregnant Chinese girl in!!!!

Ha...that's funny....The only threat my wife is would be to the BBQ and steak supply here in the states, she would deplete it quickly

 

On a serious note though me can't forget what happened 9/11. I went to a 9/11 site the other day and the horror of that day came back to me. For what we are experiencing I think is an example of how this crisis is being mismanaged and how certain folks in the government are using 9/11 to promote their own agendas.
