Timeline after re-submit

Hello,

 

From this post, I saw many people whose name checks haven't been cleared for a long time, they asked GZ to re-submit it many times. My case is just re-submitted, I want to ask if the process will be much faster when the case is re-submitted and do you know how long it is going to wait?

Hi Raychan,

 

According to the good people at DOS, the name check should be cleared within ten working days of being resubmitted...

 

Our name check was resubmitted by GZ in March and again by DOS in April. No clearance as of June 9...

 

I guess they're not talking about ten CONSECUTIVE working days!

Based on my experience, it must be 10 Mondays.

 

 

And hopefully not 10 third Mondays!!

I know it is said in jest. Unfortunately my lady is saying it may be ten years. Even though it is an exageration to express her despair, she is convinced she will not be here this year.

 

The email I got from GZ said her interview should be mid-May or early June. But then there was that little boo-boo and the resubmit for the HAWK clearance - six weeks ago this wednesday and it is supposed to be the faster one. 54 weeks from NOA1. Almost 16 weeks from the original submit that was supposed to have cleared on 3/27 and the original submit was 9 1/2 weeks after P3 was RECEIVED.

 

Sorry to vent, Ray. Truth is, no one can tell you what you want to know and it takes as long as it takes.

and Justice is implementing new ways to slow the trickle to a halt. It is a cold day in hell and even Hillary is correct. We are lost in time 50 years ago.

Donahso is right, no one can tell you how long your case will take.

 

My fiancee and I received our P3 in August. We still haven't cleared the name check or gotten P4. But, I've seen where others began and finished this process while we've waited on our namecheck.

 

And Donahso, no need to apologize for venting! Sometimes I vent too, but most of the time I rely on my sense of humor (and lots of long distance calls to my sweety!) to maintain my sanity.

My case was third resubmitted on Apr, 21 and I just know it came back GZ June, 9. So it took 7 weeks!

7 weeks isn't long. if everyone can get the clearance after the name check was submitted, that will be great.

By the way, can I ask you how come your case was submitted three times? Do you know when is the first time and when is the second time?

1st: July, 2002

2nd: Jan, 21, 2003

3rd: Apr, 21, 2003

for the second time, my fiance email to GZ to asked to resubmit, they agreed. But I guess it's because they forgot to resubmit my case on the early Jan with other big bundle of cases.

I think the 3rd time is because it's 90 days after the second one. We didn't ask that.
