Could you please tell me where I can get the vaccinations shot at LA area

(any places are close to Alhambra, Montery Park, El Monte, Culver City, Westwood)?

be aware, you may able to save some $$ from the normal cost,

 

Alan called 3 doctors this week, and got 3 price for the 3 shots... $350, $150, $10

 

becasue Alan found out one dr is on the list of the insurance company which he has been paying for, so the insurance will cover the shots!

Good point that in America it will pay to check around. Unlike China the prices for health care are not set by the government and so vary with each doctor.

 

In America any doctors office will be able to provide immunization shots, though you will have to call for an appointment, not just walk in like is done in China. You will need to tell them what you need so they can be sure to have doses of the proper vaccines on hand.

 

Also, it is a good point for those from China that generally, except for very serious matters, you do not go to a hospital to see a doctor. Doctors have their own seperate offices where you go for treatment. In some areas you may have to call several "Family Doctors" or "General Practitioners" before you find one willing to take new patients. Your spouse may have health insurance that requires them to use particular doctors or clinics.
