American Craft Beer A Hit in China

It looks like some discerning Chinese beer drinkers know good beer when they taste one. I could be drinking Shiner Beers on my next trip over! Real Beer

I wonder what the price of a six pack would be.

 

I like Chinese beers, but they have a price tag here.

 

I could go for some Shinner Bock to impress the In-laws.

Rogue Ales are one of the pride and joys of Oregon.

 

BUT --- There are so many local brewerys in China turning out well crafted beer (light, but with a good hop finish) ---its hard to see how American craft beers will compete in the long run.

 

Even here in Portland, the home of craft beer---you are lucky to get a 20 oz. pint for $2.75----a tall bottle (about 24 oz.) of cold, crisp, local Chinese beer will run you about 33 cents.......

 

Another reason to hang out in China......

I KNEW I wasn't the only Shiner Bock fan out here....I've even been to the brewery in Shiner, TX.....(truck drivers go everywhere....twice....)
