Rickmt57
My wife passed her interview and here are the questions she was asked: Wife: Good morning SirVO: Good morning, can you speak English?Wife: Yes ( she said with confidence)VO: Good, Where did you meet you husband?Wife: InternetVO: Which one?Wife: Asian Friend Finders and asked if he wanted to see a letter from the website and my husband.VO:YesVO: When did your husband first visit you?Wife: March 2005, would you like to see a copy of my husbands passport?VO: YesVO: Did you ever meet his family?Wife: Yes his 12 year old son came with him to visit last November, would you like to see pictures?VO: YesVO: Do you have a copy of his 2006 tax return?Wife: I told him I already gave it to the lady along with my physical examination report.VO: Oh Yes I do have it.VO: Is your husband retired?Wife: My wife explained no that I had been injured on the job and that now I was back to work and gave him a copy of a letter I had written to explain my situation that had been sent in with the I-864. Wife asked if VO would like to see a letter from my employer?VO: YesVO: Have you ever been married before?Wife: No this is my first marriage.VO: Is this your husbands first marriage?Wife: NoVO: Any children from his previous marriage?Wife: Yes VO: What are there ages?Wife: AnswersVO: everything looks good, returns pictures and gives wife the pink slip.Wife: Thank you and have a nice day. My wife said the VO was very young very nice and proffesional, she said she believes all of the questions had already been decided upon because she could see a piece of paper he had prepared and was checking off. My wifes appointment was for 7:15 am she waited in line before entering the building, it was sometime before she was sent to have her fingerprints and hand over the medical exam. It was almost 11:30 before she was called for the interview. My wife came fully prepared for everything, she said she was nervous right up until the time she sat down for the interview and then as soon as it started she was no longer nervous. we had talked about this before as we prepared and I told her to think of the interview as if she was meeting someone she had not seen for awhile and that she was going to share with them our happiness and love for one another, she said that helped her a lot. We were prepared because of the help of people here at CFL and the fact that our relationship is built on good communication and we share everything with one another. Thanks again to all of you, I hope I can be as much help to others as others have been to us.... Link to comment
