visa case number

I am asking this as my wife had hers changed by GZ for any reasons not known, if any of you had this done your name check may not go through, as the F.B.I. may have the old number and not the new number, will this make a difference, I don't know but the visa is issued under the new number not the old and as we all know how swift our Govt. is. I will try to call Gz tonight if I don't fall asleep, I awake to early worrying and thinking as alot of us do.

well. I don't see how /why a GUZ number would change all of a sudden, unless there was a change of name, case status, visa status of some sort..
