American woman engaged to a Chinese man

Hi,

 

I was just wondering if there are any couples in this website who are like us....the woman is the American and the man is Chinese. Is it mostly American men meeting Chinese women? What percentage of applicants to Guangzhou have our situation?

There are a few who post here in your situation and I would bet there are more around who don't.

 

I would bet the percentage in Guangzhou is probably less than 10% from looking at the line outside the counsulate, but don't let that slow you down.

As Lee mentioned we do have a few American woman members who have married Chinese men. As far as I know all of them have completed the Visa process and don't post as often as they used to. I'm sure they will pop up and say hi eventually.

There's been a few American women that are CFL members.

Don't seem to hear from them too often here of late.

One member, kimnjake, stands out most to me.

I remember in one thread, she was taking a "ribbing" over her last name. She took her Chinese husband's last name. She became "Kim Du", or more affectionately, "Ms Du." That was a memorable thread. Kim, participating right along, took it like a champ!...

As Lee mentioned we do have a few American woman members who have married Chinese men. As far as I know all of them have completed the Visa process and don't post as often as they used to. I'm sure they will pop up and say hi eventually.

One couple has an interview coming up in a few months, She is an American, Chinese, and her husband is Chinese.

But, yes - all the regular posters are American males (with a couple of Chinese males).

I haven't visited Amber's site in a while. Is she still updating it?
