Pinyin

Hi All,

 

Are there any sites you would recommend for learning Pinyin? Also, for the NJStar users, which Pinyin "Input system" do you use?

 

I've decided that this is the next step in learning Mandarin.

For NJ Star, my wife uses "Chinese Simplified GB/GBK". BTW, she really likes NJ Star.

Incidentally, NJStar is sort of a pain to code Java in.

 

I've started switching Candle's Chinese pages over from GB2312 (Simplified) and Big5 (Traditional) over to Unicode UTF-8. I am finding this to be a better overall solution.

 

Unfortunately, you can't really do anything in NJStar with a UTF-8 page. So I make all changes in a regular NJStar document and export.

 

Uhhh anyone know of a good IDE for Chinese text?
