I was thinking.

Since we are in AOS name check hell;
should we file a petition and try to get
a judge to grant status?

Any thoughts?

Did you read the law suits post yesterday?

 

You may have to wait a little longer, then bring up a lawsuit.

 

Such lawsuits seek what is called a "writ of mandamus¡± ¡ª a court order requiring a government agency or official to perform a duty, in this case, to process an application. The order does not require a favorable outcome for the immigrant ¡ª only that he gets an answer one way or the other.

I was about to, however Case Status now reports the Fingerprint Review is complete. I will be following up on whatever that means next week.

 

FYI, don't be surprised if you will be waiting another year or so. Our biometrics were done in August 2004.
