"Yuxi is more than anything a comfortable place to live. If you don't need the instant gratification of modern big-city life, it's easy to see why it ranks as one of the best 'small' cities in China."Here's the website for one of the nearby hot springs resorts...I guess it is possible to live in a place without hot springs nearby... Everyone is complaining about the heat so early this year. Well Don Yunnan is a very big place... You must mean way south and LOW...Up on the central plateau of Kunming and Yuxi it is only in the low 80s... Link to comment
