Form I-485

On the first page of the I-485 a question is asked,,,,,,,,Current USCIS status. My wife is here in the USA on a K3 visa so what do I put on the form? Is she a visitor, K3 nonimmigrant, just K3, nonimmigrant spouse, or what? Also on page 2 they ask In what status did you last enter? Same question is she a a visitor, K3 nonimmigrant, just K3, nonimmigrant spouse or what?

I am not sure what to say for a K3, but I will tell you what I did for K1.

 

I put "K1 Visa, Out of status- I-94 expired May 13, 2006"

 

For page 2, I answered K1 Visa.

 

Had no problems with the application.

"NIV K3" will do the trick...
