Where have you been lad???

I am not sure I get what you are asking. Teaching Chinese, English, teaching English speakers Chinese, Teaching British to speak English?

I think the OP is asking if there are good DIY ESOL programs, or plainly good resources for learning English as a second language. Edited by dnoblett (see edit history)

i understood the opposite meaning... 'teach english [to learn] chinese'..

the key phrase to me was "we are going the opposite way (opposite of most where the chinese person learns english).. with learning chinese for us..

While this has been discussed (how to learn chinese) here on CFL.. I'll wait a response for clarification in case I'm really wrong...

True; confusing post at best. Is it English speaker learning to speak Chinese or Chinese speaker learning to speak English? That is the question. Edited by dnoblett (see edit history)
