Hi everyone,

I hired an attorney to file my K-3 petition. It was approved, but I noticed when I received the copy of the I-129F that item 16 was blank for the address in the beneficiary's native alphabet. I dove into the process blindly (that's why I hired a lawyer), and want to know if leaving this information blank is going to affect the process once it is received by GUZ. Again, the petition has been approved and assigned a case number. Thanks for any info.

The only problem could be when they send out the P-3 and P-4. If the postal carrier can't understand the pinyin address they may not be able to deliver it. It would be a good idea to fax the address in Chinese to the consulate once you have a GUZ number. Where is your petition now? If it is or has been at NVC you can call them and get the GUZ number. NVC phone number is 603 334 0700 the automated system can't help you. Talk to a human.
