johns
I am starting some research to immigrate or obtain some kind of visa for my wifes sister to US. Her sister is a college student, not married. My wife is on a green card now in US and if I am correct she needs to be a US citizen to apply for her sister? But the fact we are married can I be considered a direct relative now and me being a US citizen I can apply for her sister? Tourist visa -- I know their is a slim to none chance to get her here to visit on a tourist since she is a student and not married. thanks Link to comment
tonado
Your wife has get her citizenship before she can apply for her sister. It will be a F4 LIMITED FAMILY-BASED visa. Thus, it may take a long time to get one. http://www.uscis.gov/graphics/howdoi/sibapp.htm http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/ty...types_1306.html Link to comment
Randy W
A student visa is her only chance for now, unless she finds an American fiance. Link to comment
