DS-230 Question

In the instruction on the DS-230 it says to use mark questions that are Not Applicable with N/A, but in some questions "None" seems to be the better answer, such as; middle name or aliases. So is it better to answer those questions N/A?

Yes, it's more than ok. It's even ok to give a brief explanation of an N/A. Example, my wife's mother is deceased, so when a form asks for her current address, I answer "N/A deceased".

Look at the DS-230 example on VJ... you'll see both "N/A" and "None" used...
