Who sets up the Medical Appointment Date ?

Hello Everyone:

 

I was looking online at the sample P4 documents and the cover letter template from GZ shows Visa Appointment Date / Time and Medical Appointment Date/Time, which leads me to believe that GZ would schedule the medical exam but my SO does not see this in his cover letter. Is he supposed to schedule his own or is GZ supposed to schedule this for him?

There isn't really a scheduling, he just needs to go to one of the authorized locations to get the exam done. He is required to have the medical exam results in hand when he goes to the interview.

In some locations, if you want to pay for the expedited service... some (I know the one in BJ my SO went to) will allow pickup the same day. In this case, you have to schedule it as an appointment and come very early.

 

I recommend one calls ahead of time to confirm there are no issues going on at the location.. ask a few questions (expedited service, pickup, appointment needed, etc)..
