Hello Everyone,

My wife finally received her K3 visa. Here is a quick run down of our time line.

 

10/2000 Looked into her beautiful brown eyes, held hands and fell in love.

01/2001 Held each other tighter and fell deeper in love.

05/2001 Held each other again, my heart told me that this is the lady I should spend the rest of my life with.

08/2001 Slipped the ring on her finger and she said YES!!

12/26/2001 Married the lady of my dreams.

04/18/2002 Filed I130.

05/17/2002 Filed I129F for K3 visa.

09/17/2002 Received approval notice from INS, Missouri Service Center.

10/23/2002 My wife received package from GZ.

11/03/2002 GZ received my wife's return package.

03/13/2003 Interviewed and received visa.

04/2003 My wife will spend time with parents.

05/2003 My wife and I begin our life together here in Texas.

 

I feel that I am the luckiest man in the world, God has blessed me with a wonderful wife and I want to encourage everyone to keep up your faith, be patient, and pray and good things will happen for us all. Good luck everyone.

Congratulations and best wishes to you!!! I enjoyed your romantic time line, she must be a lucky lady. That is great that GZ is continuing with their planned-for continuation of the previous system of issuing the visa on the same day as the interview. You are lucky that the name check was apparently done "quickly" for her.

Interviewed and received visa on same day? Now this is the way it is supposed to work. Maybe things are returning to the pre-Aug 2002 normality. Way to go!!
