Eric&Yuhui
From CUC Hello Everyone,My fiancee just had her interview (9 December at 8:30AM). She passed the interview and was approved for a visa. However, she did NOT receive a visa. They kept her passport and she was told that it would be approximately two months until it would be returned via China Post with a visa in it. But, the good news is that they DID actually issue fiancee visas this morning (she saw this first hand). She was told by the examiner that those people who have waited the longest would receive their visas first. She did not ask any questions about how many people are ahead of her, how many visas were issued, or any subject not directly related to her individual case. Link to comment

PJ
Hello, It really does seem that the U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou is doing their best to be fair and efficient, given a very difficult situation ... I am very happy to hear that they are giving out fiancee visas again. So, were these people who were picking them up people they had called via mail notification, or people who were interviewing today for the first time? Anyone have any idea? Thanks, P.J.
