I attempted this once before and I'll hang my neck out there again... I'm a software guy and so 'standards' are sometimes good :)

I know that some people like to use their signatures to tell us when they went to grandmother's house :P , but it would be great if it was kept to a minimum of timeline key milestone dates...

The difficulty with using the timelines for comparison (or prediction) purposes is that too many variations exist... and while some milestones might be more useful (ie: for P3 date, the entered in computer date is better than the sent to GUZ date, but the former requires everyone to call and get this, and some might not), I suggest we stick to dates that anyone should be able to put down without calling DOS or NVC.

For now, I'll suggest the following milestones to show:

K# sample:

01/01/2006 - I-129F/K1 sent to VSC

02/01/2006 - P2 received

03/01/2006 - NVC approval

04/01/2006 - P3 sent to GUZ

05/01/2006 - P4 received

06/01/2006 - Interview scheduled

CR1 sample:

01/01/2006 - I-130/CR1 sent to VSC

02/01/2006 - P2 received

03/01/2006 - NVC case entered

04/01/2006 - P3 sent to NVC

05/01/2006 - NVC case approval

06/01/2006 - P4 received

07/01/2006 - Interview scheduled
