Mistake on I-130

Recommended Posts

This question got lost at the end of another thread. I read yesterday from pushbrk (Mike) that there is no middle name for chinese. I'm sure he's right, and now I'm worried. Here is my original question:

oooops! On my I-130 and G-325A, I enterred the second syllable of her First name as "middle name".

..Do you think I made an Irreversible or fatal screw-up??

Also, I haven't sent the 129F yet. Should I be consistent with I-130 or should I list middle name as "none" on the 129F?

??????

Thanks,

Hank

I also "gave" my lao po a middle name by taking the second syllable of her first name and calling it a second name.

All of her US documents now show her with 3 names.

It hasn't been a problem.

I would be consistent and keep all of her US documents the same, with the 3 names.

Good luck!!

P.S. We also included her adopted American name, Amy, on her documents where they asked for other names she went by. I put "nickname" in parentesis. Amy thought this would create a problem, but all of our corresponding evidence of relationship involve someone called Amy. I could just imagine the VO asking her who is this Amy person?!?
