CR-1 or IR-1

I'm reading the link Visa FAQ and found out CR-1 is for marriage under 2 years and IR-1 is for marriage more than 2 years.

 

We got married less than 2 years when I filed the petition for my husband, and now we've got married for more than 2 years.

 

Is he gonna get a CR-1 visa or IR-1? Thanks.

He is entitled to the IR1 visa but you'll want to make sure GUZ takes note of the timing and issues the right visa.

Kelle was approved for an IR1 because her INTERVIEW DATE was 2 weeks past our 2nd. anneversary. I guess that's the key to IR1 or CR!.
