Don't worry that they will quickly cut you off when they finally answer. They know everybody uses speakerphones for long waits like that. They will tell you to pick up. Link to comment
owenkrout Posted March 3, 2003 Report Share Posted March 3, 2003 "No visas get lost or ignored they are there and it is just a matter of time for them to get to them." it was nice of them to say it... but our namecheck was lost from may 9 to january 9 (along with a few thousand others). so it DOES happen. other than that, i would say you have some pretty good info, and have found a reliable source! well done!Ours was literally lost from July to February, Jon. Despite the insistance that they could not make mistakes, they had simply failed to submit it to DOS or anybody for the security check. That is the really bad part. You don't know if you are waiting on further action or if your case simply missed a step and literally nothing is happening. Link to comment
