can we know the interview date in advance?

I am waiting for P4,my fiance wants to know the interview date in advance ,because he will book the airtikets and accompany me to go to USA ,besides i have many things to bring,he will bring 2 big suitcases to help me.so is there a helpful way to know the interview date in advance?

Only way to know in advance is by calling DOS to see if interveiw date has been scheduled. Otherwise it's just a waiting game for the P4.

Unfortuately No, the date is not assinged until they issue the P-4. You might get a few days extra notice if you are calling DOS. I found out the interview date the day before they mailed it, but that is only a few extra days.

On average you get 1 month it seems to prepare for the interview. Although there have been a few thta only get 2 weeks notice. Most airlines require a 2 week led time for the cheaper tickets. It would then be up to his work to let him go on short notice. For the past 6 months I have been setup to leave right away.
