Doing things properly

Ok, help me out here guys.

 

My finacee is in the USA now but I cannot find any detailed advice on what comes next. We are going to get married in April so as far as I can tell there is nothing we have to do until we are married in April.

 

After that I'm planning on following this list in detail: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...om&page=k1k3aos

 

We are going through the paperwork now so we are ready in April, but I assume we start by filing the I-485, submitting the copies of the passport, I-129F etc, etc.

 

I just want to be sure I am not missing anything.

Ken, remember that you must marry within 90 days of her coming to the US. After that you file the I-485 with the I-184. Be sure to get the vac supplement form I-683 ( I think) from a civil surgeon. then just follow the directions on the I-485 and bada bing---green card!! Oh, you may want to get the SSN ASAP. If you don't get it now you will have to wait for either her green card or an EAD to do so.
