xulei601
We're moving, thus jumping through more DHS hoops. On form AR-11, the last question states: "My stay in the U.S. expires on:" We just filed for AOS a month ago. The date of expiration on her I-94 has already expired. So how do I express this without raising alarms? Should I write "AOS pending" or something like that? Give the (expired)date and add an attachment explaining that the AOS is pending? Thanks! LeeFisher3
I would think something like "Pending I-485" or "I-485 Pending" as the application for AOS extends the expiration date indefinitely while you await a decision. The abbreviation AOS is not a proper USCIS term and would not suggest using it on the form. Also take a look at:http://uscis.gov/graphics/howdoi/address.htm USCIS has created an additional procedure and recommends additional notifications for those aliens who are also applicants for benefits. Applicants and Petitioners with pending cases should telephone customer service at 1-800-375-5283 to report their change of address and get the address on the pending application/petition changed. awch
Since the K-1 is good for 90 days, I put down the date 90 days after my husband entered the US. Link to comment
