chinese intgernational passport

Where and how does my SO get her passport? I can't seem to find info. on the Internet.

In Shanghai and Beijing, one applies for passport at the post office and pick it up at the police station. In other cities, one applies at the police station and pick up or send by EMS delivery. Usually takes 10 days.

Yes, your SO does need a passport. This visa alone will not get her in the USA.

 

I only say this because it has been asked before.

She in fact will need a passport for the medical exam and the interview.

 

Before applying, she will also need a Chinese size passport photo (smaller than the US passport size). The kodak stores there can do this. We also used this size for the I-129F application and it was accepted.

I would have them print a page or two of her passport photos. Depending on what all you do, you'll need several.
