Guest pushbrk
What the heck, my wife doesn't read CFL. :-) I discovered on the day after our marriage that my wife carries a notebook with some English phrases and sentences that were hand written in Chinese and English for her by a friend. There are some good every day things for her reference but I discovered there were several pages of such things as "I have headache", "I want a shower first" and various more explicit declarations or questions, if you get my drift. She always snatches the notebook from me when I start to read in it but I'm too sneaky not to have seen it all in short order. I even handed it to her sister to read on the car ride to from Nanning to Guilin. Anyway, to the purpose of the post. At one of those times when that's all there was time for, I picked up the notebook, found the right spot and pointed at "Let's have a quickie." She was all for it, of course but just as things turned amorous, she ran off to "freshen up". Evidently, the cultural concept of the spontaneous "quickie" does not yet compute. I'll leave you to conclude on your own what happened next. Link to comment

esun41
After I always initiating the intimacy, I backed off and let it happen when she wanted it to happen. It is so much more relaxed now and I think the pressure is off her. I think in the past, it was just a duty. Her washing clothes, cleaning, cooking... her ex strolls along... 3 minutes.... back to washing, cooking, cleaning... Link to comment
