If there is any sort of discrepancy that needs overcoming, wouldn't it be expeditious to have the USC SO provide that information on the spot?

 

I hope to be there for my SO's interview, but it will depend on many circumstances as to whether it is possible. My reasons for being there would be to be able to a) comfort my wife b ) be able to provide on the spot information if needed/overcoming c) celebrate her successful interview with her and then come home together.

 

b ) certainly facilititates a and c

 

I understand it may make some interviews run a little long, but having them rescheduled would seem to take longer, since you would have another slot, not to mention the stress and anguish to our SO's and ourselves...
