johnjez
My wife received her temporary resident status card on Nov 22,2005. We did not even have to go for an interview. Is that normal? I now have to apply for her permanent residency card 90 days before Nov 22 2005 Link to comment
frank1538
Approving AOS cases without an interview is starting to become something more than a rare exception. A number of folks here at CFL, including my wife and daughter, have received their green cards without an interview. Consider yourself one of the lucky ones. I take it you meant 90 before Nov. 22, 2007 to file to remove the conditions on your wife's 2 year card. Just a side note, other than the validity period (2 years vs. 10 years), your wife's 2 year green card is the real thing. Link to comment
david_dawei
When did you submit your AOS packet ? Would be nice to see your overall time... Link to comment
cosmiclobster
You are one of the lucky ones to get the green card without an interview. As to your question of whether or not it is normal, the thought of anything being "normal" in this process would be funny if: 1. it didn't screw with the lives of legal immigrants and their familys and2. also applied to the 12 million + illegal immigrants that our govt is still trying to figure out what to do with.
