Immigrant Visa Fee

I paid the $380 dollars to the NVC but can not find my receipt from the NVC. Will the Consulate know this fee has been paid? My wife will be interviewing on Dec 14th. If not I have told my wife to just pay them and I will sort it out later. I figure if we pay it twice what's the big deal we should get it back in maybe a month. LOL. Right more like never see it again.

I can swear that another CR1 posted the same issue recently... and that GUZ does not need this receipt, as they do for K# visas...

I'll just add also, you won't get a reciept. Only the return slip on your registered mail. You keep your money order or certified check. It's the only accepted means to pay.
