david_dawei
My SO would like her sister (34 y.o., married and one child from previous marriage; owns two properties) to come to the US for a visit..Anyone have experience or advice on this? Link to comment
castaway109
I have read a lot about visitor visas. Here is the lowdown. It is getting very difficult to get one now. The beneficiary has to show that he/she has very good reason to return to their home country. Is the child coming? If not that is a reason she would return after the visit. Also what about employment? That could show she has a good reason to return. Owning property is a step in the right direction too. Being single and young could hurt. Link to comment
david_dawei
That 'difficult' item is the one I keep hearing. Employment would not be a strong tie. The child staying in china and her property are the only reasons right now. And can someone clarify... is this China or the US which serves this visa difficulty on a platter ? Link to comment

But my understanding is that the B-2 visas are for parents only - I hope you find out otherwise. By parents, I mean Zixuan's parents.
