Affidavit of support is handed to the VO if they ask for it at the interview.

What Visa are you petitioning for? K-1, K-3 or CR-1, IR-1?

 

It is easier to answer questions correctly if you put in a timeline

I did not have much luck with the website last year when I needed one ,

I used the 800 number and got 3 tax returns in 10 days so I think that is the best way to go
